More Oslo: Ski Jumps and Sculptures

We had a beautiful morning, which started with a bus tour around the city, and then a drive up the hill to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Unfortunately, we did not see anyone jumping, and we were not encouraged to try. 😒

From the bus, looking straight on at the ski jump.

Top part, from the side.

This was not all the way to the top. It was high, though...You can see the fjord in the background.

How would you like this job?

Church, the King and Queen attend at Christmas, and when they are at their "cabin" near the ski jump.

Our next stop was Vigeland Park. This park is a sculpture garden with over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vineland. The sculptures, made out of bronze, granite, and cast iron, depict the Circle of Life.

A sculpture of the sculptor.

The famous "Angry Boy".
